A guard of a car parking in Minsk Vasili Sarochyk has undergone the procedure of identification of the suspects of the tortures.
According to him, four people were offered for identification, among whom he saw three who tortured him and one who did not participate in the beatings, but was present in the Lenin police department that day, Radio Svaboda reports.
Vasili Sarochyk said that one of those who beat him introduced himself as Aleg Zhuk, another one – as Raman Barouski. The third on refused to tell his name, but they all named their positions and the place of work – investigators of the Lenin police department. As Vasili Sarochyk reported before, the investigator Zhana Bagdanouskaya – the main suspect – did not participate in the identification procedure.
The investigatory activities are carried out by the Minsk Investigatory Committee’s department in the framework of the criminal case of beating of Vasili Sarochyk by the policemen of the Lenin police station.
The guard addressed the law enforcing agencies after being beaten for several hours by the officials of the criminal investigation department of the Lenin police department on 14 November, forcing him to admit a series of robberies.
