Political prisoner Mikalai Dzyadok stands trial

The court of Shklou is to decide whether the political prisoner should be transferred to a maximum security prison.

The trial is scheduled for today.

The political prisoner was earlier given the status of “persistent violator of prison rules”, Mikalai Dzyadok's father Alyaksandr Dzyadok told charter97.org. He says the activist doesn't admit he committed any violations.

It should be reminded that political prisoners Zmitser Dashkevich, Mikalai Statkevich and Yauheny Vaskovich were classified as “persistent violators of prison rules”. All of them were moved to maximum security prisons.

Mikalai Dzyadok, Ihar Alinevich and Alyaksandr Frantskevich were involved in the anarchist case. They were accused of organising a procession near the Ministry of Defence building, attacking on Shangri La casino and the detention centre on Akrestin Street, arson of Belarusbank office and attacking on the Russian embassy.
