Haidukou denied changing measure of restrain

A court refused to change the measure of restraint for Andrei Haidukou, who is accused of “treason”.
As BelaPAN news agency learnt this from Yauheny Kanstantinau, the leader of the unregistered organisation “Union of Young Intellectuals”.
According to him, the court heard the motion to change the measure of restraint for Haidukou on December 3. “The decision is not a surprise, though Haidukou hoped to be released from a detention facility on his own recognizance,” Kanstantinau said.
He noted that Haidukou is still charged with violation of part 1 of article 356 of the Criminal Code (spying).
