MEP Migalski demands Lukashenka to free Bandarenka

Marek Migalski calls on the Belarusian head of state to release the political prisoner as soon as possible.

The political prisoner, who serves his sentence in a penal colony in Mahilou, applied for a pardon in early February. Alyaksandr Lukashenka said at a press conference on January 25 he would free the political prisoners if they applied for a pardon, Euroradio reports.

Migalski recalls these two facts and hopes Lukashenka will fulfill his promise. The MEP also reminds the dialoguw between the Belarusian regime and the EU leadership depends on the release of all political prisoners.
