Lukashenko thanked China for "material support"

Belarusian governor praised the all-terrain vehicles, donated by the Chinese on the eve of July 3.
Belarus is in favor of closer military cooperation with China, Alexander Lukashenko said as he met with Vice-Chairman of the Central Military Commission of China Xu Caihou.
“The Belarusian Defense Ministry and the Chinese military have developed very good relations. I would like to see these relations not only evolve but also deepen,” Alexander Lukashenko said.
“We are aware of your great contribution to the development of cooperation between the military departments of the two countries. It is not just words of support but also certain assistance which was demonstrated at the Independence Day parade,” Alexander Lukashenko said.
He stressed that in this connection the decision was taken to award Xu Caihou the Order of Friendship of Peoples. This is a rare case when this high state award is presented to a representative of another state.
