Yarmoshyna invited to Vienna by Ireland?

She received a visa in the embassy of Austria in Moscow.

Lidzia Yarmoshyna, the head of the Central Election Commission of Belarus (CEC), is taking part in an OSCE meeting on democratic elections and election observation in Vienna. Yarmoshyna is expected to return to Minsk on July 13, Radio Racyaja quotes the CEC.

Lidzia Yarmoshyna is banned from entering the EU countries. Asked if Yarmoshyna could have obtained a visa, for example, in the Polish embassy, legal advisor of the embassy of Poland in Minsk Pawel Marczuk said:

“I don't think so. Lidzia Yarmoshyna is on the EU blacklist.”

Lidzia Yarmoshyna is unofficially reported to have been invited to the OSCE conference in Vienna by Ireland, the country holding OSCE chairmanship.

Yarmoshyna received a visa in the embassy of Austria in Moscow. She was granted a visa after a consultation with EU ambassadors.
