Leaflets calling for boycott of the elections were found in the politician’s car.
The deputy head of the “Razam” movement Aliaksandr Makaeu was going for work in the morning in his personal car which had a white-red-white flag on it, Belarusian Partisan reports.
He was stopped by police and the car was searched. In the cabin they found leaflets calling for boycott of the elections and detained the activist.
Now Aliaksandr Makaeu is in the Minsk Central district’s police department.
