The ex-president of Kyrgyzstan is accused of ordering the murder of presidential administration's former chief Medzet Sadyrkulov.
Kurmanbek Bakiyev's younger brother Janybek is also mentioned in the criminal case. The case has been transferred to the court, interfax.by reports.
Judge Marlen Tentemishev says that former employees of the State Security Service and the Ministry of Internal Affairs are also mentioned in the Sardykulov's murder case. He adds that the criminal case against the Bakiyevs for organizing the murder was singled out into a separate case.
Kurmanbek Bakiyev got Belarusian citizenship. As for his younger brother Janybek Bakiyev, Belarus refused to extradite him to Kyrgyzstan. The Belarusian General Public Prosecution considers that Janybek Bakiyev is persecuted for political reasons.
