Doctors are demanding to increase wages for hospital doctors in more than two times.
"The authorities promised to raise salaries of doctors, but doctors (there are more than one hundred thousand of them in the country), demand an adequate wage increase of at least 700 euros. No one takes medical staff into consideration on the background of rising prices for food and utilities in the country. Health workers unions are corrupt power in the hands of authorities. Salary is a state’s assesment of employees, of the level of their skills, of their knowledge and efforts"- told health workers to "Belaruski Partisan".
Therapist gets 1,725,000, nurse – 1,230,000. Salary of a nurse - from 1 million 85 thousand to 1 million 450 thousand. Surgeons’ salaries grew by an average of 2 million 200 thousand, therapists’ - to 1 million 725 thousand, nurses’ in clinics to 900,000 and "even" to 1 million 230 thousand.
"So we have the people in the state that receives a minimum, and everyone thinks from the average level, which is out of reach: few receive 4 million 500 rubles", - write the doctors.
If the government will fail to complete the requirements, the staff of doctors doctors of the 2nd city hospital of Minsk decided to strike.
