Water conduit explosion in Turau

Two rescuers suffered. More than 200 apartments and 430 private houses left without cold water.

Two rescuers suffered in Turau town of the Gomel region when an oxygen tank exploded. The Ministry of Emergency reported that to CTV TV channel on 15 January.

The accident happened during the repair works at the central water conduit. The victims were taken to a hospital. One of the men had up to 25% of his body burnt.

As a result of the explosion of the pipeline, more than 200 apartments in 12 blocks of flats and 430 private houses, a hospital and a nursery were left without cold water. The accident elimination keeps going.
