Dashevich is suffering from a central nerve’s inflammation

Painkillers are saving the political prisoner from the inflammation of the central nerve.

The diagnosis became known of the illness from which the leader of Young Front Dzmitry Dashkevich was suffering in the prison in Grodno. “Doctors found that Dzmitry had the central nerve inflamed”, - the political prisoner’s wife Anastasiya Dashkevich reported to Radio Svaboda. According to her, Dzmitry could not move normally because of the illness’ attack and the prison’s doctors injected painkillers for him. “But this treatment is temporary and Dzmitry needs constant medical care. He feels better now. The main treatment will be needed when he walks free from jail”, - Anastasiya says.

The other day another political prisoner Pavel Seviarynets, who is serving his limitation of freedom term in Pruzhany district, received a letter from Dzmitry Dashkevich. Pavel Seviarynets notes, that this letter from Dashkevich, like the previous ones, is very optimistic and warm. “He did not write anything about his illness, but it is always like him 0 he never complains about his health, whatever happens to him”, - Pavel Seviarynets says.

By the means of letters Dashkevich and Seviarynets exchange opinions on the political situation. This time Dzmitry Dashkevich’s assessments coincided with Pavel Seviarynets’ opinion:

“I cannot tell a lot here, but shortly the political situation may be compared to a swamp. And he speaks of it in the same way. He can see that even from prison”.

Dzmitry Dashkevich is being kept in the prison in Grodno. Before the expiration of the 2-years term of imprisonment for alleged hooliganism on the eve of the elections the political prisoner was tried and sentenced to another year for alleged insubordination to the colony’s administration and send to prison a malicious violator of the regime.
