Mirnyi/Tecau into Kremlin Cup quarterfinal

Belarus’ Max Mirnyi and Romania’s Horia Tecau have got off to a good start in the men’s doubles event at the Kremlin Cup.

At Moscow’s Olympic Stadium the Belarusian-Romanian duo, seeded first, chalked up a 7:6 (7:5), 6:2 victory against the Italian duo Paolo Lorenzi/Andreas Seppi in the round of 16. In the quarterfinal Max Mirnyi and Horia Tecau will face the Skupski brothers, Ken and Neal, of the UK.
