Drunken Lukashenka in comics for Putin's birthday

An unusual present was prepared for the Russian president's birthday.

He will receive comics with politicians as main characters. Novaya Gazeta obtained the draft comics. The comic book for the Russian president's birthday (October 7) was made by pro-Kremlin youth organisations.

One of the authors, PR specialist and participant of the Seliger Forum Sergei Kalenik, 27, is known for his 2011 ironic comics with a superhero in a white kimono – Vladimir Putin – and his aide in a bear costume – Dmitry Medvedev (they fought terrorists and the “dark forces”).

Unfortunately, the newspaper doesn't publish the drafts, but according to the synopsis, the authors couldn't but give attention to the Belarusian ruler, who is depicted in a poor light. The plot is easy. Events take place in futuristic metropolis Moscow. Russian politicians looking like characters of fantastic series are preparing for a birthday party. Suddenly terrorists attack them, but the main hero with a striking resemblance to Vladimir Putin defeats them and sacrifices himself to save the planet.

The final scene is set in a big room looking like rooms in detective stories. Dmitry Medvedev, Patriarch Kirill, boxer Nikolai Valuev, Chechen president Ramzan Kadyrov and other Russian politicians are drinking tea. Drunken Lukashenka and Sobyanin are sitting in the corner. Putin enters the room surprising everyone. Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu asks: “Mr Putin, are you alive?”. He answers: “Did anyone here forget that I am invincible?”

According to Novaya Gazeta the project was approved by the former spokesman for the movement Nashi Kristina Potupchik, who is considered to be the Kremlin's main specialist responsible for internet projects and media, and is expected to be approved by the Russian president's administration.
