Belavia launches new air service to Vilnius 19 December

The national airline Belavia will launch a new service to Vilnius on 19 December.

Belavia will operate eight flights to Vilnius per week: morning flights on Monday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday; at 19.15 on Mondays and Fridays; and at 17.10 on Saturday and Sunday. The press service informed that the air carrier will operate a CRJ aircraft on the route. The flight will last about 40 minutes.

Belavia will launch a regular flight from Minsk to Geneva by the end of this year. The company is actively working to expand its network and is looking into its options regarding new destinations in CIS and Europe.

Founded in 1996, the national air carrier Belavia is the largest air carrier in Belarus. It is based in Minsk National Airport and offers regular flights to 42 destinations in 24 countries in Europe and Asia. In 1997 Belavia joined the IATA, in 2010 the European Regions Airline Association (ERAA). Belavia’s services meet the highest international safety standards. The company uses 21 aircraft, including Boeing 737/500, Boeing 737/300, CRJ 100/CRJ 200, Embraer 175, and Tu-154M.
