Dashkevich receives first warning

A former political prisoner received the first warning for violating the rules of preventive supervision.

Young Front leader Zmitser Dashkevich told it to charter97.org.

“I forgot yesterday was the third Thursday. I came to the police today. I have to appear at the corrections department every first, third and fourth Thursday of a month. Firstly, they made a report for violating the supervision rules. I will be tried. Secondly, they asked me about my participation in the programme 'A Talk with Kalinkina' on Belsat TV, but I didn't understand what they wanted. They asked about her, where she lived and where she worked, if I went abroad to take part in her programme. I only said I knew Sviatlana Kalinkina and talked to her,” the politician noted.

Zmitser Dashkeivch was released from Hrodna prison No. 1 on august 28, after almost three years in prison. He was arrested a day before the presidential elections, on December 18, 2010. He was cahrged with hooliganism, but later received an additional year of imprisonment for “persistent violations of prison rules”.

Dashkevich is under preventive supervision. He cannot leave home from 20:00 to 6:00.
