Falling icicle kills plumber in Minsk

A plumber of a housing repair and maintenance department in Minsk was killed by falling ice.
The information was received from the law-enforcement bodies, Interfax news agency reports.
“The information was received at 7:00 p.m. on January 31 that a chunk of ice fell from the roof of a 12-storey block of flats on Herasimenka Street killing a plumber of a housing repair and maintenance department,” the news agency learnt from the police. The accident is reported to have happened at around 4 p.m.
