Another provocation against Statkevich

The political prisoner Mikalai Statkevich is experiencing another wave of provocations.
The former presidential candidate links the pressure to another demand to write a plea for pardon. The politician said that in a telephone conversation on 8 February, the statkevich.org web-site reports.
“The conversation was short, Mikalai very briefly, literally in the telegraph style, reported about the latest news. First of all that provocations have started again, the attempts to put controversial cell mates in his cell.
Now it is the matter of a specially trained, according to prisoners, former special services agent, who is known for very cruel treatment of cell mates, mockery and beating.
Mikalai stated that if the provocations continued he would demand “the conditions, safe from the illegal actions of the prison’s administration”. Apart from that they are threatening him with another punishment for “putting psychological pressure”, - the politican’s wife Maryna Adamovich reported.
“By the way, the last time, in summer, apparently having realized the absurdity of the accusation of pressure, Mikalai received his 10 days in a disciplinary cell for “countering the regime actions of the administration”. I do not know how it will go this time. I, nevertheless, hope that the administration will abide by the law, but not to go into unlawfulness”, - Mikalai Statkevich’s wife noted.
Mikalai Statkevich links this situation as well as the limits in the parcels for him with another suggestion to write a plea for pardon.
“Usually problems with handkerchiefs and tags arise after the suggestions to write the plea, - the political prisoner noted. – That is why I expected for something like that to happen”.
