Mikalai Autukhovich: To be not only humans, but also citizens

Mikalai Autukhovich sent congratulations from prison on the anniversary of the Soviet military pullout from Afghanistan.

An Afghan veteran from Brest Aliaksandr Sakharuk reported about that, He received a letter from the political prisoner, the web-site of the human rights center Viasna reports.

In the letter Mikalai Autukhovich congratulated his former brothers in arms and wished everyone “good health and all the best, to remain not only humans in this life, but also citizens. So we could shake each other’s hands with no doubts…”

We would remind that Mikalai Autukhovich was sentenced to 5 years in high security prison for uncovering the facts of corruption among the local authorities.

On 15 February an anniversary is celebrated of the Soviet army pullout from Afghanistan.
