A protest action is being held near the office of the Central Election Committee in Yerevan.

The action is open-ended, the participants say. The activists are going to take part in the action until their demands are fulfilled, RBK reports referring to Armenian mass media.

Seven candidates ran for President in Armenia. The current President Serzh Sargsyan is leading with 59% of votes, exit-polls and preliminary results indicate.

According to the Armenian legislation, the final result of the election should be announced seven days after the election day.
