Parcels limited for Mikalai Statkevich

They refused to accept certain products for the political prisoner.
The former presidential candidate’s wife Maryna Adamovich reported about that, according to Radio Racyja.
She said that very simple products were not passed to Mikalai Statkevich for the reasons unknown to her:
“They have forbidden what would be absolutely logical to pass in the penitentiary system: almost all the vegetables, all the greens. A person who have not eaten either vegetable or fruit for one and a half years has lost his last opportunity. For example, why tomatoes are allowed, but cabbage and carrots are not? It is a riddle to me”.
The colony’s administration explains that with some sanitary rules, although according to Maryna Adamovich, it is absolutely illogical to forbid passing honey, but allow it for candy.
We would remind, that Mikalai Statkevich was convicted according to the article on mass disturbances and sentenced to six years in prison for participating in the demonstration against the falsification of the presidential elections on 19 December 2010.
