BRSM members wear riot police uniform

The so called youth security squads appeared on Minsk streets in uniform.
The recently formed youth security squads include members of pro-Lukashenka Belarusian Republican Youth Union (BRSM). They “patrol” Minsk streets together with police officers.
Members of the squads with recommendation letters from the BRSM have preferences for enrollment at Academy of the Interior Ministry since 2011 and faculty of internal troops of Belarusian Military Academy and Mahilou College of the Interior Ministry since 2012.
Journalist Zmitser Pankavets took a picture of youth security squad members in Minsk and posted it on his Facebook account.
