Ministry of Information issued official warning to BelMuzTV

Ministry of information issued official warning to channel BelMuzTV upon a demonstration porn video at the daytime on April, 13.

The TV-channel will only get an official warning.

This has been informed with a reference to a source in the Ministry of Information. Also, the ministry's official says, the specialists are to conduct an expert evaluation of the demonstrated video and send their conclusions to the law-enforcement agencies, which investigate the criminal case started upon this fact.

According to the Belarusian legislation, media can be closed in case of several warnings within a year.

The porn video was shown in the daytime, on Saturday, April 13. The law-enforcement agencies have already detained a 28-year-old video engineer, who is accused of having shown the porn video on TV. He says that he was depressed after a row with his girlfriend. He faces 2-4 years of imprisonment.
