Lukashenka: If Poles and Baltic people give us an angry look...

The Belarusian dictator could not restrain himself from threatening the neighbouring countries again.

Aliaksandr Lukashenka met with Russian defence minister Sergei Shoigu on April 23.

The military agencies of the two countries cooperate without problems and can serve as an example in the “union state”, Lukashenka notes. The sides stressed the common understanding of aims and tasks in the sector, discussed the forthcoming Zapad 2013 military exercises and announced the deployment of a Russian air base in Belarus.

“If we are preparing our armed forces and security forces for the defence of our common interests and territory, we should carry out relative events, including military drills. I don't understand why the West is so concerned about our exercises. It is not the first war game. The exercises are not even defensive. We only learn to coordinate our actions. New people appeared and we test the system that was adjusted long ago,” the dictator said.

“It does not target the Poles, or the Baltic people, or NATO at all,” Lukashenka stressed.

“Of course, they have to understand that if they give us an angry look, we will respond to it,” the Belarusian ruler said.
