The political prisoner’s appeal will be re-considered by prosecutor’s office.

Eduard Lobau told about that to his mother Maryna Lobava in a telephone conversation. He is now serving a punishment term in a penal colony in Ivatsevichy, Radio Racyja reports.

“He said that it was all the same with his, that everything was ok. The only thing was that there was news on his appeal to the prosecutor’s office, which he received a reply to. Now his appeal will be considered again. It concerned the insufficient consideration of his case, the unjust verdict, detention in a pre-trial jail in Valadarskaha street and interrogations at KGB without a lawyer”, - the political prisoner’s mother told.

Maryna Lobava is skeptic about the possibility that the appeal will be considered in due way.

We would remind that a Young Front activist Eduard Lobau was sentenced to 4 years in prison on the accusation of hooliganism, he is serving the term in a penal colony in Ivatsevichy. He and Young Front’s leader Dzmitry Dashkievich were accused of allegedly beating passersby in Minsk. This happened one day before presidential elections. In court the “victims” testified having their face hidden from the public. Lobau and Dashkievich claimed that the fight was provoked by special services.
