Lukashenka grants government awards to Yarmoshyna, Vakulchyk and Shunevich

Alyaksandr Lukashenka has granted government awards to top-ranking officials.

In particular, Andrey Kabyakow, head of the Presidential Administration, and Valery Vakulchyk, head of the Committee for State Security, have been awarded the Third-Class Fatherland Order for his "many years of productive work, a significant personal contribution to the state system building and the country's social and economic development," according to the presidential press office.

The Third-Class Fatherland Order has also been granted to Defense Minister Yury Zhadobin and Interior Minister Ihar Shunevich for "exemplary performance of military duty and official functions, and the enhancement of the state's defense capability," the press office said.

Mr. Lukashenka has bestowed the Order of Honor on Lidziya Yarmoshyna, head of the central election commission, and Henadz Lawrankow, presidential aide/chief inspector for the Mahilyow region.
