Lukashenka's administration: Belarusians should live within their means

Ideologists will teach Belarusians how to do it.

The task was set by Aliaksandr Radzkou, the first deputy head of Lukashenka's administration. According to him, citizens of the country should learn how to live within their means and appreciate what they already have in conditions of severe market competition and new economic reality. Radzkou made this statement at a seminar of ideological officers of the Mahilou region, BelTA news agency reports.

“Never before have we had so many opportunities for self-realisation: receiving good education and high-paid jobs, opening a business, etc. But it always strikes me that people don't want to work and earn money, though many of us have overstated requirements for living standards and individual wealth. We want to get everything at once, but we don't always understand that we need to work and increase our professional level,” he said.

The current task of ideologists is to return people into today's reality, put them into the conditions where everybody can earn money by hard work or intellect and pay the full price for what they have, Aliaksandr Radzkou thinks.
