A former assistant editor of Sovetskaya Belorussia newspaper, who was on the EU blacklist lately, will visit Vilnius.
Anna Shadrina will take part in a literature seminar organised by the Centre for Gender Studies of European Humanities University. She also plans to present her book “Not Married: Sex, Love and Family outside Marriage”.
Pavel Yakubovich's former assistant wrote it on Facebook.
“We'd like to discuss opportunities/necessities of defending the author's view, conveying the original message and strategies to elude the enforced placing of us and our books on the map of dual opposites,” she wrote.
The event takes place tomorrow, January 16.
Shadrina was an author of Sovetskaya Belorussia newspaper. Her articles ahead of the 2010 presidential elections defamed opposition activists and some presidential candidates. She and other officials and propagandists was banned from entering the EU. Shadrina tried to lift restrictions from her with the help of oligarch Peftiev. She was removed from the blacklist and allowed entering the EU last May.
