Artsiom Prakapenka is held incommunicado in prison.
Charter97.org has learnt it from his father Anatoly Prakapenka.
“There's no news from Artsiom. He called us two weeks ago. He doesn't write letters at all,” he said.
Anatoly Prakapenka notes Artsiom hasn't changed his mind about applying for clemency.
“He doesn't have new 'violations'. I don't know when the next visit will be allowed, maybe in two months or so,” the political prisoner's father added.
Artsiom Prakapenka was tried together with Yauhen Vaskovich and Pavel Syramolatau. He was sentenced to 7 years in prison for an attempt to set the doors of the Babruisk KGB office on fire. Pavel Syramolatau was released last September after applying to Lukashenka for a pardon. Artsiom Prakapenka and Yauhen Vaskovich refused to ask for clemency.
