Lukashenka’s hockey tournament ended with scuffle

And a disqualified player played for the ruler’s team.

The Christmas tournament is amateur, but for Lukashenka’s team an exception was made: it has professional hockey players. It is not surprising that it usually takes the first place, Salidarnasc reports.

This time eight hockey players helped Lukashenka that keep pursuing a professional career: goaltender Siarhiej Shabanau, defenders Aliaksiej Plotnikau, Siarhiej Stas, Aliaksandr Radzinski, forwards Siarhiej Zadzialonau, Viachaslau Lisichkin, Sciapan Panamarou and Maksim Slysh. Note: the latter rarely leaves the ice without scored goals and assist points in the game of Belarusian championship.

But this is still not all. A forward played for Lukashenka’s team, who was disqualified by the International Ice Hockey Federation. In Andrej Michalou’s doping test, taken in February 2013, a forbidden medicine was found.

It turned out to be quite symbolic: this is exactly the way Lukashenka “elegantly” wins elections. This time in the traditional final against Russians the game led to a scuffle.

The winning shot out strike (game’s score – 3:2) was scored by a professional, Viciebsk’s forward Sciapan Panamarou, who scored a winning goal in Belarusian championship as early back as on 4 January. Now he turned into an amateur on 7th and decided the outcome of a whole tournament.

Lukashenka did not score himself even once in the course of the whole competition.
