Homel plants don't have money to pay wages

Sad news comes from the plant of self-propelled harvesters, the plant of foundry and fasteners and Gomselmash plant.

Charter97.org learnt it from the website's reader Viktar.

“I work at the plant of self-propelled harvesters in Homel. We were ordered to take unpaid leave from October 17 to October 20. The same happens at the plant of foundry and fasteners and Gomselmash plant. They warned that we would have to take a leave also from November 3 to November 10. We had to take a leave in the previous months, too, but managers didn't put too much pressure. This time they say that the plant won't work and we won't be able to enter. No official orders were issued. We have to work like that. Managers will later say that no one made us take a leave,” he writes.

Large plants have recently begun to work four or even three days a week and delay wages.
