“MP”: Let “social parasites” pay for education and medical care themselves

“Deputies” of “the chamber of representatives” think that “social parasites” should be dealt with as soon as possible.

A member of the standing committee of the “chamber of representatives” on health care, physical culture, family and youth policy Dzmitry Shautsou (Dmitry Shevtsov, on the picture) says that so far the “parliament” had not received concrete documents on the war on social parasitism. However he believes that it is necessary to find variants of solving the problem as soon as possible, “Sovetskaya Belorussiya” writes.

- Just imagine: 400,000 persons, who in fact are shrinking away from work and do not pay anything in the public purse. These are huge sums! – Shautsou is convinced. According to his observations, as a rule those who had not brought any contribution, demand more than others from social workers. – And [they demand] more than they had earned. Even in out-patient hospitals they are shouting to doctors that allegedly they feed them by paying taxes. But in reality the situation is the contrary.

Members of the “parliament” are convinced: such people should pay for education of their children, medical care and utilities bills in full.

But what about those who work, but work for themselves? Let’s take freelancers. Shautsou is sure that a respectable citizen would register his occupation and would pay taxes without fail: “If we want to live in a socially oriented state, the time has come to discuss a person’s decency and awareness of where he lives and what contribution is made by him to his future.” And those who are not decent, there are people who would call this person to account, the deputy is convinced.
