Dinamo Minsk make it four in row with win over Amur

HC Dinamo Minsk solved Amur Khabarovsk in shootout on the home ground on 27 October extending its winning streak to four.

The streak began on the road with a 3-1 victory against Lada Togliatti. The Bisons also defeated Traktor Chelyabinsk 3-2, and Ugra Khanty-Mansiysk 6-2.

The score in the match against Amur was opened by the guests while they were playing with one man down. Late in the second period Dinamo defenseman Ilya Shinkevich leveled off with his first in the season. Nick Bailen took the home team in front before Amur's Alexander Ryazantsev tied it up at 2-2. After a scoreless extra period it was Ryan Vesce who brought the victory to the Belarusian team.

With 37 points after 20 games Dinamo Minsk stays 6th in the West. Jonathan Cheechoo remains the team's best striker with a total of 25 (10+15) points.

Dinamo Minsk will continue their four-game homestand against Admiral Vladivostok on 29 October. The Bisons will also face Sibir Novosibirsk on 1 November, and Metallurg Novokuznetsk on 2 November.
