The campaign in perpetuating the memory of Kastus Kalinowski led to the police office

Siarhei Trafimchyk and Vitold Ashurak, the activists of Belarusian Popular Front (BPF), from Biarozauka have been summoned to the regional police office.

The reason for it is the participation in the campaign in perpetuating the memory of Kastus Kalinowski rebels. It is traditionally held in Svislach. Press office of the BPF informed charter97.org.

“The local police officer gave me a call and said that I should come to the police office and get acquainted with the protocol on the administrative offence. According to him the offence is connected with my participation in unauthorized campaign in the end of October in Svislach”, mentioned Siargei Trafimchyk.

According to him, Vitold Ashurak has also been summoned to the police office to get acquainted with the protocol.

It should be reminded that the traditional campaign in perpetuating the memory of Kastus Kalinowski rebels takes place in October in Svislach. This year alongside the rebels, the participants have been perpetuating the memory of local activist Viktar Dzesiatsik. He was buried not far from Kastus Kalinowski’s grave.
