Riot police use gas against Dinamo Minsk fans in Navapolatsk

A number of fans of the Minsk football club were detained.

New details of clashes between football fans and the police in Navapolatsk have appeared, belultras.by writes.

The Vitebsk riot police used riot control weapons against Dinamo fans who lit flares at the Atlant stadium in Navapolatsk during the Naftan vs Dinamo Minsk match of the 31st round of Belarusian Premier League. In particular, the police used pepper spray projectiles against Dinamo fans. At least one person is reported to be seriously injured.

Minsk fans and the riot police had clashes during the match between Naftan and Dinamo Minsk in Navapolatsk. The police began to push people from stands after Dinamo fans lit flares. Several people received head injuries. Police officers are reported to be injured, too.

All detained fans were released by the evening of November 22.
