Source in government bodies: Mikhalok won't be allowed to have concerts in Belarus until “elections”

Government bodies have a task under no circumstances permit concerts of Siarhei Mikhalok.

Tuzin.fm learnt it from a reliable source in government bodies. “Officials are really afraid of that person. They more fear his influence on the youth more than Mikhalok himself, so they don't remove him from the blacklist and won't do it at least until the 2015 presidential election,” the website writes.

The unofficial ban is imposed directly on Mikhalok regardless the names of his projects. The former leader of Lyapis Trubetskoy cannot play concerts in the country even with his new band Brutto. So, it wasn't strange that the administration of Dinamo Minsk ice hockey club refused to allow Mikhalok concert before a match at Minsk Arena on November 29 despite previous arrangements.
