Sanctions to be slapped on 13 militants and organisations from DNR and LNR

Permanent representatives of the EU member countries have decided to put 13 legal entities and individuals, militants of the DNR and LNR, on the sanctions list.

It has been informed by a European diplomat, RIA “Novosti” informs.

“The matter concerns 13 legal entities and individuals, all of them are representatives of separatists, according to the enquiry of the Foreign Affairs council,” the diplomat said.

As said by him, this list is to be approved by the Council of the European Union in a written procedure. “They are to be published and come into force until the end of the month,” he said.

As it had been informed, New Zealand unstatedly joined the anti-Russian sanctions in the financial sphere. Following Australian banks, local banks closed correspondent accounts of a number of Russian state banks on the sanctions list, including Gazprombank and Vneshekonombank, which have to settle clients’ payments in Australian and New Zealand dollars via intermediaries now.
