Boris Nemtsov: Lukashenka and Putin reciprocate hatred and both want to take the lead

The dictators will not be able to do close with each other.

One of the leaders of the Russian opposition Boris Nemtsov wrote it on his account on Facebook commenting on a new trade war between Moscow and Minsk.

“That is love! That is brotherhood and friendship. Luka threatens to reply to limitation on exported products to Russia. And he is absolutely right in this case. The Customs Union was just formed and it was tried even to seduce Ukraine to join it.

It was sworn to abolish all the barriers within internal boundaries and a few months later one thing led to another: psytosanitary control near Smolensk, customs officers, Federal Service for Veterinary and Psytosanitary Surveillance.

Didn’t Putin’s counselors know that one-sided introduction of food sanctions by Russia may cause inevitable burst of illegal trafficking? In case of transparent boundaries illicit goods in one country will be delivered at once to the one where these goods are legal. Or one should be the Adam Smith to come up with this idea?” he asked.

Boris Nemtsov emphasizes that one-sided introduction of sanctions by Russia without securing approval of Kazakhstan and Belarus contradicts the Customs Union rules.

“You may guess why Putin has not coordinated the sanctions. He is too cool for Luka and Nazarbaev. He is a so-called Celestial Father, Messiah for Russia and all Slavic nations. So it is a playgame that the Customs Union failed before it managed to gain strength.

Aliaksandr Lukashenka will silence for a week in case he gets a few our budget billions and then will continue proposing to divide Russian territory between Kazakhstan and Mongolia and place Smolensk, Bryansk and Pskov districts under Belarusian control.

There is a strong sense in the fact that the European Union was formed only when Europe become democratic. The dictators will not ever be able to reach an agreement as everyone wants to take the lead and strives to hog the covers meanwhile they show their teeth and reciprocate hatred”, writes Boris Nemtsov.
