Dwellers of Warsaw protested against Russian aggression

Belarusians, Ukrainians, Georgians and Tatars gathered in Warsaw for a rally of protest against Russia’s policy of expansion.

Participants of the picket were holding anti-war slogans in their hands. Flags of Belarus and Ukraine were fluttering over them, Radio Racyja informs.

A representative of Tatarstan, a public person and a former philanthropist Nafiz Kashapov, who was forced to emigrate from the territory of Russia 8 years ago because of crackdown, delivered a speech.

“We have learnt about terror and aggression against native peoples from Putin’s Russia. About 2000 of our schools were closed. Muslim and national leaders come under pressure. About 30 persons have died over 10 years, about 300 are imprisoned, more than 2000 families from Tatarstan and Bashkortostan have left Russia. I was in crisis spots myself, and I saw dictatorship and fascism in my own eyes both in Azerbaijan and Crimea,” he told.

The rally had been organized by “Razam” movement and “Euromaidan Warsaw”.
