Dmitry Medvedev: It will be more difficult

The coming year will be more difficult for Russians than the outgoing one.

Russia's prime minister Dmitry Medvedev attended the final meeting of the Russian trilateral commission on social and labour relations and called on all government officials, employers and trade unions involved in the commission to do their best to make the life of Russian citizens as easy as possible in the difficult economic situation in 2015, Interfax reports.

“The outgoing year was difficult. The coming year will be even more difficult. The task of the government leaders, trade unions and employers is to do our best to allow people to live at least comfortably,” the Russian PM said.

He noted than the upcoming holiday season is “not very good for the economy, but good for people”. “I've counted how many days Europe has for Christmas holidays. Their holiday season is as long as ours, but we need to work like people in Europe do,” Medvedev said.
