Vital Rymasheuski: “Ruling party” is doomed to fail

The Lukashenka regime needs a pro-government party for a democratic disguise.

The opinion came from a co-chairman of the organizational committee for creation of the party Belarusian Christian Democracy Vital Rymasheuski, as he commented for the charter97.org web-site on the perspectives of creating a ruling party in Belarus.

“This regime would need a pro-government party for coming out as a lees dictatorial and more democratic, similar to at least the Putin or Yanukovych regimes. But in reality the incumbent regime is not ready for entering the field of party competition”, - the politician believes.

BChD’s co-chairman has pointed out that there is a ruling party comprised of law enforcement agencies, officials and pro-government oligarchs.

“This is the system that rules Belarus today. The creation of a party “White Russia” or any other is not to the benefit of Lukashenka, because the people, who run for local authorities or parliament from “White Russia” or BRYU, are mostly totally talentless and uneducated people in political sense. That is why this all would and in a complete failure”, - Vital Rymasheuski is convinced.

We would remind that the Central Electoral Commission’s chairwoman Lidzija Jarmoshyna, who is banned from entering the EU, claimed that “at any moment she could proclaim and create an actual party and call it a ruling party”.

The opinion that “our country lacks a leading party” has been recently voiced by the Belarusian dictator.
