Maladzechna residents pay tribute to Maidan heroes

Activists of the civil campaign European Belarus lighted candles near the monument to martyrs for freedom and independence in Maladzechna.

As charter97.org has learnt, the monument was decorated with white-red-white and blue-yellow ribbons.

“The struggle against dictatorship has become the common issue both for the Belarusians and Ukrainians, who, unfortunately, paid a high price to turn their country off the road of the Lukashenka authoritarianism,” the activists say.

Graffiti “Glory to Ukraine! Glory to heroes” appeared at bus stops in the Maladzechna district.
