Paris residents pay tribute to Maidan heroes

A picket to support the pro-EU protests in Ukraine was held near the Centre Pompidou in Paris.

A charter97.org correspondent reports the picket lasted for over two hours.

People pay tribute to those, who died in clashes in Kyiv. The picket began with signing the anthem “Ukraine Has Not Yet Died”. The picketers named all killed protesters and chanted “Glory to heroes” after each name.

Representatives of Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Poland and Russia said the words of support.

The picketers chanted “Long live Belarus” after the address of Belarusians.
