Dzemidzenka and Kramianietski sentenced to 10-day arrest

Young Front activists sentenced to arrest for alleged foul language.

On 22 February the activists were detained at Ukrainian border, got their passports stamped with a ban to enter the territory of Ukraine for 5 years and taken to the Belarusian side. After that policemen came to the border, who detained the youngsters for allegedly swearing in public, human rights center Viasna reports.

All this time the activists spent at Elsk police department. Protocols were composed against them for an administrative violation, supported with reports of five policemen and protocols of two other persons detained, who were at the police department.

Young Front activists Mikalaj Dzemidzenka and Dzmitry Kramianietski denied guilt. Despite that the judge Ivan Piatrovich sentenced the activists to 10-day arrest.

We would remind that during their previous visit to the Maidan (10-20) the activists were forced to sign an obligation not to take part in protest actions in Ukraine.
