Stanislav Panteliuk: I dream that Maidan’s ideas came to Belarus

The editor-in-chief of the newspaper Dziennik Kijowski is convinced that the ideal of Ukrainian revolution will spread to the authoritarian countries of the former USSR.

He shared the opinion in an interview to a Polish newspaper Dziennik Łódzki.

“If we speak of Maidan’s significance in a broader context, then my dream is that these ideas to spread further to the East, including Belarus. The most important in all this is that we are dealing with an absolutely different point of view, then before, and that it is the point of view of the youth, free from stereotypes and historic stamps. This is actually the embryo of European thinking”, - he is convinced.
