Brest police chief accused of discrediting Interior Ministry

Police Major General Ivan Sauchyts has been dismissed for discreditable conduct.

Lukashenka removed Major General Ivan Sauchyts from his office as chief of the interior affairs department of the Brest regional executive committee for the “actions that bring discredit on police officers, and discharged him from the police for repeated failure to fulfill the terms of the contract”.

BelTA has learnt from Lukashenka's press service that the relevant decree was signed on February 28.
