She said it charter97.org.

“I had a short meeting with Eduard on February 25. We talked for two hours on the phone through a glass barrier. He feels normal. He will finish his electrogas welding course in June and receive a diploma. He makes plans for his life after the release, which is sooner than in 10 months,” Maryna Lobava said.

The political prisoner's mother underlines her son doesn't believe he can be released under amnesty, which was announced by interior minister Shunevich.

“We are not so naïve. There have been amnesties, but none of political prisoners was freed. We didn't even discuss the possibility,” she said.

Eduard Lobau and Young Front head Zmitser Dashkevich were detained in Minsk on December 18, 2010. It was the preventive measure taken by the security service ahead o the nexrt day's presidential election.
