A blogger shows what tourists don't usually see in the Belarusian capital.
The photographs posted by blogger voolchitza differ from pictures of main streets and new buildings the authorities usually show to foreign guests.
“Away from central streets, but still in central districts, you can face the past or the present that hides, but still exists,” the blogger comments the photos.
Don't believe Minsk residents are grey. They like red
The rhythm of the city is not slow. But they have to do something with design. What is the purpose of these window bars?
Turn from the central street and …?
Or even so... At the same time one square metre near the ring road costs more than $999.9
My favourite sign. Read it in a new way every time
“All in one” – flower beds and a shop in the style “back to the 1990s” that your granny loves. Can't solve the secret of a shelf under the window. Maybe people used to return bottles for recycling there?
Americans would envy
A garden and a greenhouse
I don't know what it is. Maybe a hut
The backyard. The gate.
A cellar! As Sergey Makhsanov says: “Every bearded man dreams about a cellar to keep barrels of wine, wheels of cheese and jamon.”
