Lukashenka about ambassadors: As we squeezed them, they squeaked

The ruler has criticized Belarus ambassador to France.

At the meeting on the issue of the improvement of the system of collecting and processing recycled resources on 18 March Lukashenka criticized the former Minister of Culture Paviel Latushka, BelaPAN reports.

We squeezed ambassadors so they sold products, but they do not want to. They want to have white cuffs, white collars, sit in France and represent some political interests, jabber and put pictures on walls and by that show their work. When they got squeezed on the issue of sales, that this year they will have to report to the president, they squeaked that the products were wrong. This will not pass. I have been working as a president for 20 years, it is not my first year, they could have cheated then, when I was 30, but not today, - Lukashenka claimed.

On 9 February in an interview to Kontury TV show on ONT TV channel Latuska stated: it is difficult to count on Belarusian diplomatic missions abroad solving the problem of exports. There are cases, when embassies receive letters with one-page information, saying that our storehouses have this or that number of engines or TV-sets, or some other parts. This is just presented as the numbers and units. Please, sell it in your country of residence, - the diplomat said.
