Lukashenka has grown cold to his toy

Hockey club Dynamo-Minsk has been cut off state’s financing.

The formal reason for eliminating the team from the system of state’s support was not meeting the requirements of Lukashenka’s decree number 191, Tribuna reports.

The expenses of the hockey club Dynamo on infrastructure development and junior sport accounted for mere 13.1 percent. At the same time the decree number 191 requires that 25 percent of the received sponsor support was directed to infrastructure development and junior sport, while the latter should account for no less than 15 percent.

Due to not meeting the requirements the hockey teams has been cut off the state support system.

The latest season was evidently a failure for Dynamo. In 54 games of the regular championship the team scored 53 points. The Minsk team finished last in CHL’s Western Conference and appeared to be the least scoring team in the league – only 102 goals.

We would remind that it has recently come out that the handball club Dynamo-Minsk withdrew from the championship of Belarus and was dismissed due to the lack of funds.
