In Belarus they demanded to bring up charges against Kiselev and Zhirinovskiy

Members of the Committee for Solidarity with Ukraine demand that Prosecutor General’s office banned the broadcasting of the RTR TV channel in Belarus.

The corresponding appeal was signed on 19 March at the initiative’s first meeting, BelaPAN reports.

The appeal notes that the demand to ban the broadcasting of the Russia 1 TV (RTR) channel is caused by the fact that the channel’s shows ‘Vesti’ and ‘Sunday night with Solovyov’ have calls for national hatred in the speeches of the hosts and guest speakers.

Apart from that, the statement says, the rights of the Belarusian people for self-determination is doubted, calls are voiced for the change of Belarus’ constitutional order and its sovereignty denied.

In the appeal there is a demand to ban from entering Belarus and bring up charges under the article 130 of the Criminal Code against TV anchors Dmitry Kiselev and Vladimir Solovyov, as well as the guests of their shows Aleksandr Prokhanov, Vladimir Zhirinovskiy, Anatol Vasserman and Aleksandr Dugin.
